How has it gotten to be mid August already?? Crazy!!
But not as crazy as our summer so far!!
Firstly – thank you SOO much to everyone who made our Impropriety Big Day of Fun at The Kazimier Garden. The rain certainly didn’t stop us. Many many thanks to Leebo Luby, Tantrum, Headstrung Puppet Cabaret, Hope Street Harmonies, Comedysportz UK, Mark Rawle and Legion of Doom. It’s clear to say that the day was a Big Day of Wonderfullness!!
August also saw us take a road trip to sunny Leek to join our friends from The Laughter Party in their debut show! We have a feeling its the first of many!
And coming up – we have some very musical events in one way or another as Impropriety collaborate with our friends at Open Culture and their 2013 Bandstand line up.
Saturday 17 August saw Impropriety’s Angie and our local musician Robbie Locke join the Bido Lito Bandstand in Williamson Square at 12.30 – 1pm to make up songs with just a voice, a guitar and a brain!
And we’re a little bit excited to give you a wee spoiler of another new collaboration…..on Tuesday September 10, Impropriety will be joining forces withe the fabulous 81 Renshaw Street to create a special menu for The 2013 Liverpool Food and Drink Festival who are extending their stint in Sefton Park to create exciting food and drink based events that week. 81 Renshaw Street’s “Improv de Jour” Supper Club will certainly be dining with a difference! Top class food with a bit of improv on the side. See the Facebook event here. Booking is recommended and tickets can be bought from here (£1 booking fee applies).
And of course we still have our Improv Jam workshops. The next is Wednesday 4 Sept 7-9pm. This month we’ll be in 81 Renshaw Street, Liverpool
That is all (phew!)
